Shambhala Foodie Program
At the Albuquerque Shambhala Center our community is full of generosity and talent. In our Shambhala Foodies program, there are a dozen or so sangha members who volunteer to cook meals or pick up prepared food for our visiting teachers and their hostesses. It is true, that the quickest way to ones heart is through food! Teachers who visit here love to feel the welcome of a home-cooked meal. Our foodies work hard providing up to 60 meals during a busy teaching season at the Center.
This program has created a strong sense of working together, a warm welcome for visiting teachers and a huge help in hosting and providing an uplifted experience for all.
